Got the Holley Blues

Back in December I put in a Holley Blue with the Vulcan big line. Saturday I was looking around under the truck to check things over and I noticed that the bolts on the bottom of the pump have diesel on them. I looked around the whole thing and it is not wet anywhere else only on the bolt heads. I checked with it running and it is not leaking out anywhere steady or anything. Has anyone else seen this? Is it something that I just need to put some silicone on the threads or do I have deeper issues? My pressure is still holding at 13 psi no matter what I do to it. Any help would be appreciated!

My Holley is doing the same thing, but I realized it is coming from the front of the pump also. I am gonna just replace the gasket and see what happens. If not I'm calling Holley.

I had this same prob when i pulled the pump out the box, all ya gota do is go get some black slicone and seal the thing up... when you pull the bottom plate you will see were you need to seal (just the outside edge's) be sure not to get extra inside the unit. good idea to do the fittings in and outa the pump too.

i recommend black slicone because diesel will eat through everything but this (so i have found) i have tried pipe dope, teflon tape, petrolum teflon tape, just about everything and this is the best!

I had the same problem with the leaking. I'm sure I could have sealed it up, but I went with a permanent although expensive fix.
