Man I just go through installing my gauges, can you say bloody knuckles! Who said it was easy? I used stainless braided line for my fp, that stuff his hard to work with in those tight spaces. No leaks, yet. I am noticing my boost gauge and wonder if it is working correctly.
I have to really get after it to get it to 20, cruising it about 3 maybe 4, is this right. My EGT also looks high easy to get it to 950 plus. FP is good 16 at idle about 13 cruisin. Let me know on this boost number. Thanks,

 

What year truck are these guages attached to?

EGT pre or post turbo?

If your just puttering along on a nice flat road, 60-65mph, the boost is right about normal.
Mine hovers around 8-10, but there aren't any flat roads around here.

EGT sits right around 900-950, pre turbo.

Climbing a big hill, boost goes up to 19-20,
stock wastegate opens there so I'll never see higher without future modifications,
and I can get the EGT up to 1200 on that same hill.

give some info on your truck and if you are bomed at all, this will help with your questions....if you are stock it sounds close but more info would be helpfull..

 

2001 HO, EGT pre turbo, quadzilla chip, straight pipe and K&N filter thats it.
