Fuel System Cleaner?

What's the best "gunk" for cleaning out our fuel systems? Opinions please.

Thanks,

Ive seen some cetane booster products that are just for diesels. They are sold at Autozone, Pep Boys, Advance Auto...Its supposed to clean out the injectors and the lines and stuff. It treats 35 gallons and is like 7 bucks. I havent tried it mind you, but I remember seeing it and making a mental note to try it. If you go that route, post some info about it.

I like Berrymans diesel cleaner. It is available at most auto parts stores. It seems to be stronger than all the other I have tried.

has anyone used seafoam? I have heard great things about it from friends using it in gassers and, the bottle says it is also for use on diesel engines.

Thanks,
Best fuel system cleaner would be Bio 100 diesel fuel... if you can find it? The high ester content is natural solvent.

You don't list truck info or your location but even B20 (20% bio diesel), which is sold at many pumps, will do the job slowly, over several tankfuls.... which is probably a better way to do it anyway! I used B20 on oil stains on my garage floor with amazing results.

One bottle, system cleaners, tend to be like 'major surgery' and can break loose too much, too soon.

Many people are claiming the new ultra low sulfur diesel is cleaning out their fuel systems and causing filter plugging.
Maybe you don't have to add anything.

I've heard good things about SeaFoam as a "once in a while" system cleaner too.
I haven't tried it though.
I dose every tank with my favorite Diesel Fuel Additive.
