no, the in tank conversion pump is defenatly not the way to go, my suggestion is to go with a fass system a 95/95 would probably be best for your aplication, it compleatly by passes your stock transfer pump and filter system, i put one in my truck and love it.

As long as you dont have a Campaign lift pump installed in the tank by the dealer and you still have one on the side of the block. This one replaces your stock pump located behind the fuel filter housing. Their fairly new.

The pump shown is NOT an in tank pump. it is our Dodge Direct Replacement Pump or DDRP. It is designed to replace the 98.5 - 02 Dodge stock Lift pump. When chosing your pump you really have to ask yourself what your trying to do. If you want just a replacement for your stock lift pump then the DDRP is the way to go. if you want better filtration, less emissions, better idle than i would suggest a FASS fuel system. Both of these systems can replace your stick lift pump and they both come with a warranty (FASS with a lifetime and the DDRP with a 4 year) I would say that either way you go.....you cant go wrong. Let me know if you have any further questions

I just bought and installed a Raptor 100 system. The install took just about as long as it would to replace the stock pump (1hr) and now I can adjust the pressure with the built in regulator. Now I know that the new IP is getting the fuel it needs to stay cool and lubricated. I paid $389 for the system but it has a lifetime warranty. Unlike the stock set up.
