i'M too lazy to do a search. how many washers does it take? 1 or 2? I got the size down just not sure how many

 

one washer above each set of springs (2 washers)

get a 3/8" washer drill it to 1/2" or a bit more, so it'll fit over the cone on the top spring retainer, outside diam has to be a lil less then 1"

leave the springs a bit looser then they where stock!

ummm
on the side is a plug (right under the fuel shut off solenoid. you remove that with a 7/8 socket.

then you have to turn the motor thill you see one set of springs, put a washer there,

next turn the engine a whole turn, thats the other springs set

(pump turns half the speed the engine does!
