I put my comp w/o wire in a couple of weeks ago, which I guess is the same as the EZ and WOW ;D what a difference why did I wait so long. <br>What are the general rules of thumb about washing or hosing out engine compartments. Mine makes Cattle Haulers look like new living in the desert and only had 1.5" rain in last 18 months., Living on a dirt road does not help.

I just leave it running, spray some engine cleaner on it and let it sit then spray it off. I accidentally sprayed my aFe which resulted in oil in the turbo....not happy about that at all :'(

Well, mine used to be clean, underhood and outside, EVERY WEEK, for two and a half years...(gotta do a little braggin', I won 5 trophies in truck shows, including Scheid's, those 2 years)now it gets neglected while I work on everyone else's... I did manage to wash & wax it before the trip to Talladega, though. ;D Pride just wouldn't lemme take a dirty truck home to Dixie, at a vehicular event, no less !
Speaking of clean under the hood.... we detoured briefly in Birmingham, did a KDP fix for a really nice retired gentleman, he had a garaged & shined '95 that was as clean as a new one under the hood, inside & outside! Imagine not having to wash up or find the Gojo, after doing a KDP fix !!!! ;D
