I finally got a minute to talk to Rip about the drags.
Yes, it is a Drag Comp. After he cracked the 11.96 the track owner got all huffy and asked him to stop racing the truck. Rip said he would turn the power down some with the box and not break out of the 12's again. Owner said ok!
Rip turned the box down to 2 and it still ran a 12.03. Too close for comfort, so he turned it down to 1. The truck then ran a 12.15. I guess the box does help some. LOL!!!!!
He thinks it will drop another 10th with the 6's. I am working out the final BS on some prototype Mach 7's to make that reality. Hoping we dont step over the edge. BTW, no smoke after he is about 35 feet out the gate! Clean all the way down the track.

I would like to say thanks to Rip for helping me pick injectors for my truck and to Don M for making them.They are way cool and way fast. Only mach2s but thanks any way. By the way great job Rip

I'll try to set the record straight....
I took my canopy off.
My egt's are a tad worse than 1350 on kill.
My truck smokes.
I've got a Detroit in the back.
Weight was closer to 6700.
The rest of his info looks pretty legit
