I also totally agree with you other guys. It should not have changed anything. I was just trying to get all the puzzle pieces to make sure there wasnt another problem area first.

The VP44 will only allow X amount of fuel through it at any given time no matter how hard you push it up to it.

Are you calculating your MPG by hand or using the overhead?

I think the same but it has lost fuel mileage and the truck dosen't have the pep it had before, how could that be??

When was the pump chnaged? Could the power loss and drop in MPG coincide with winter fuel?

Hmmm.. what was your fp before the fass? Maybe your vp is on the way out and that would explain less smoke and power. I remember reading somewhere in the Fass manual about the added fp to an already damaged vp can make it run worse and have hard starts.

Just a thought.
