Are you sure you're not looking at the MAP plug? It will be a round plug with the three contacts making a triangle in the middle.

hmmmm. Just checking man. I just didn't know that the data link came in anything different than a flat plug on '98.5's thru '00's.

My girlfriends comp had a offset plug for the data link. There were actually two plugs near eachother down in front of motor. Make sure you lookin for the right data plug.

You are correct. You need an adapter from either Edge Products or see if someone on the site has one that they are not using...I had the same thing with my 2000. It had the three flat plug and the EZ came with the triangle shaped plug.

Post a wanted ad in the Gen 2 classifieds and ask there.

Also call some of the vendors that sell the Edge products and see if they can get it for you...

Let me make a call and see if I can get my hands on one...

Quad can get them/ has them available. My Beta Adrenaline was shipped with the three flat prong data link and my truck 99' needed the triangle one you are describing. He sent me a flat to triangle adapter, maybe he can get triangle to flat adapters as well.
