Has anyone had any experience with Flowmastter systems.My tailpipe rotted off behind the muffler so I ordered the four inch system.I am curious about type of connection at turbo and what studs and nuts are made of,hoping for ease of disassembly.

 

I have heard that Flowmaster isnt the muffler of choice for these engines because Flowmaster works on the exhaust sound pulses. The turbo breaks these up. I may be wrong but I'm just relaying info. Allied makes a big straight through 4" muffler that works great.

 

I've heard the same thing about the flowmaster mufflers for our rigs. But why would anyone want to muffle the beautiful sound of a straight piped CTD!!

 

I have the flowmaster on my truck, love the sound, improved performance(seat of Pants) a little bit.
