Exhaust Options

I'm going for mpgs not power and I don't want any more cab noise so, what's the most effective option? A geno's muffler elimination pipe for my stock exhaust $65 or eliminate the cat and resonator and go with a 4" $300 to $400 option?

An exhaust won't really give you much of either power or mpg.

If money is really important, don't touch the exhaust. IF there was a mpg improvement to be had with exhaust, it would take a good long time to pay for itself given the $400 price of most exhaust systems.

Agree with Hohn...

If you don't want more noise forget the Geno's option. You won't be happy with a straight pipe.
