Here is what mine sounds like:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2jedUYyRJw

I'd say about a couple hundred overall decrease in EGT's for me. But that's hard to say in general.

Yeah, well it's the mbrp muffler, if that counts as a muffler. It is pretty loud outside the cab, not too bad inside.

I have never seen a 5" dp you better dble check that....in fact I dont theing there is room for a 5 inch dp.

I have a 4 inch dp to a 5 inch system. I get a pretty loud drone on this truck with it, but on my standard cab....no drone, same system...go figure

I still love the way 5" sounds. I will deal with the drone

i have a stock 3.5 inch strait pipe with a 4 inch flo pro tip and its a little loud now that im getting older but the strait pipe alone was only 50 bucks at a local muffler shop and the inside drone is not bad unless i get over 70. I was thinking of finding a 3.5 inch areo turbine to replace the strait, anyone have some cheap advice with the stock 3.5inch pipe?

I had a 4" Summit exhaust for a few years until it rotted out. My ebay 4" into 5" has a MUCH bigger muffler and is a lot quieter on the highway (less in cab drone) than my 4" system was. At first I wasn't sure I liked it but after doing 700 miles with the truck on Sunday I'm glad its quieter now.
