Exaust Brake

Ok guy I have a wrecked 94/95 parts truck that has a exhaust brake on it and I need some help in the braking dept on my 98 so I am thinking of installing this on my truck their is a toggle switch on the dash that says Cummings? I believe this operates the exhaust brake, is this a factory braking system (factory option)? And will it bolt up to my 98?

Also I am thinking of going to twins in the next year or so will this brake work with aftermarket turbos?

And buy the way both trucks r autos

Thank for your help guys.

If the exhaust brake is a RAMBRAKE by jacobs, then it is what the dealers offered for exhaust brakes, my buddy has a 95 auto and a RAMBRAKE on it, the switch to activate it is next to the OD on/off button. If your 98 is a 12v, i dont see why it would not work on that truck. Exhaust brakes are trickey though, im not sure if the RAMBRAKE by jacobs required 60lb valve springs or if it was set to be used with the stock valve springs. Im also not sure if they required tranny mods for the use of an exhuast brake either.

The switch is on the left side of the steering wheel mounted to the dash it is black and has Cummins stamped into it I believe that it also has a small red light.

What is the switch connected to? What, if any, are the markings or identification on the exhaust brake?
