Emjay Strategy Controller - Part 2

Guys, just got done posting part two of the Emjay controller article. Lary did a great job on the article and you can look for more to come.

This article is the second of the series and shows an overview of the install.

The third article will show laptop control, and screenshots on how the controller software works, hooked up to a real truck. Lary will also be showing performance performance changes etc on the transmission in future installments.

Enjoy:

https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...ay/emjay2.html

Re:Emjay Strategy Controller - Part 2

Lary did a good job. I'm curious to see how it runs and how the software works more than anything. I like the idea of being able to change the shift points and stuff. There still isn't a lot of these out there, but it sounds promising.

Re:Emjay Strategy Controller - Part 2

Very interesting article. Any chance of going into detail on why one would want to control the tranny via TPS/APPS or vehicle speed?

vssman, I will be showing how to set it up and discussing the options in the next article, hopefully I will be able to answer your questions there.

http://www.emjay-eng.com/index.html

This is the link for the manufacturer, a great deal of that is explained there. Take a peek at it and perhaps you will find what you seek in their information.

If not, ATS has there own forum now and they bought the exclusive distribution rights to it. I believe there is a forum there set up for any questions as well.

http//forums.atsdiesel.com

Leave it to Top

So I'm wondering how this thing has been working for you, Top. Have you done much to it yet? I haven't heard anything since you installed it. What is the next step? Are there any problems so far?
