I have a question about power increases at sea level over high altitude.<br><br>I live in the Denver area, and the power I have is adequate for a stock truck (not to be stock for too much longer!). I'm driving down to Phoenix for a week next month to visit friends and check out how my motorcycle runs after modding it ('99 Suzuki Hayabua-BRUTAL!), and I wondered if I would notice any difference in my truck? The turbo seems to be the great equalizer at altitude, but what about sea level?<br><br>Any input would be appreciated.

 

Wish I could help, but my truck has never left CO. If the difference between 10,000 feet and 5,000 feet is any indication. I would say you will notice a nice increase.

 

Let's hope so. The last time I was down there, it was on my bike, and I noticed a HUGE difference in power, and noticed the same thing when I had my car down there. I don't know what to expect with my ETH.

 

Definate increase the air is more dense at lower elevations and is how can you say it packed harder into the engine you get more fresh air each stroke.
