electrical guru wanted
just got my westech fuel gauge assembly, Ive noticed that the wires are going to be too short.I assume that u just splice an adequet lenght of wire to make any and all connections ? I am using an isolator off the vp44.

Yes you will need to splice the wire needed to install your gauges. If you want to do it right, you will need to solder each connection and use heat shrink to seal the splice. This will also be a much cleaner installation. I would also suggest that you use a little more wire than needed, just in case you need to address a problem later. Use wire ties to secure your wires ,but leave some slack between. Hope I have helped

dont use an isolator... i had one and it leaked shortly after i started to use it...
I now have an gauge manifold like what they use in drag racing and such... there awsome and they are very useful if you want to pump your return into the manifold and regulate some of the fuel back to the tank so you can take some of the strain off the lift pump....
