edge pyro problems

i have and edge j/a in my truck and sometimes the pyro reads about 200 degrees cold at an idle. normal idling temp was mid 200s and now idling it reads around 80. tried cleaning it cuz that usually fixes it but this time its still doing it. any ideas?

Had this happen on my 02' about a month ago; same situaion read about mid 80's at idle, then sometimes it would read mid 200's. I took the probe out, scrubbed it with some steel wool, and reinstalled it. Then I reset the Edge J/A, and now it works fine. If that wouldn't have worked I would have then been stumped, hopefully this is of some good use to you, good luck!

this ones actting different. as soon as you giver, it hits like 1500 or 1600 degrees and the chip backs me down. low and mid range its usually fine. the odd time at idle it'll read 4-500 degreees. its getting annoying. anyone else have this?

The probe itself might be going bad. They are pretty tough, but like anything can fail. If all your connections are good, clean with the pyro as well as the module, then I would suspect the pyro probe might be faulty.
