What about the Hypertech programmer?

How does it compare?

 

I cant give you a step by step comparison.....but i have the edge comp untapped, so it acts the same as the EZ. And my buddy has the hypertech, with the same mods as i do. And i can dust him everytime.

 

You might consider the CaTCHEr (Marco's MAD ECM). If you plan on continuing, then you won't have to sell it and get something different, just add on a fueling box.

 

one big thing i heard is no boost fooler on hyper tech so theres a "power cap"

 

Hypertech tuner is going to be about 15RWHP less then an edge ez. Plus you can't plug your wastegate with a stock turbo without setting the overboost codes. I've tested both tuners, superchips and hypertech. The superchips runs better overall although dyno numbers are pretty close. If you only want around 30 more horsepower to play with, a tuner isn't a bad idea. But once you start, you'll be to a comp and injectors in no time....

 

Kdawg is 100% correct. You'll be there. You cant kill the bombing bug. Beleive me my wife has tried.
