Edge Comp Mount

I ordered my COMP. Now the question is where to mount it. Does it come with enough wire to mount it up in the overhead console? if not, anyone have any COOL places? thanks.

There is an example of an Ashtray mount (for non-smokers of course) around here somewhere, can't remember who or where. Seen them under and above brake controllers.

Seen them in ashtrays, on steering columns, around brake controllers, and on dash boards.

Sweet mount tughillnut. I've got mine flush mounted in my ash tray. Folds up nicely in there with a little bit of cutting.

Here is a much less glamourous method than what these other guys have done but it does tuck nicely out of site under the brake controller and is quick to do.

Check out MLR1's photos. I mounted mine in the same place he did. Great idea he had.

Hey Mooseman glad to hear that it worked out good for you. Here is a pic of mine. Works out great, if you have an aftermarket radio.

The kit is a Metra 99-6000. The hole to the right is what is left of the pocket in the kit after you install the comp.
