Can anyone tell me more about this product,from Diesel Transmission Technology.From what I gather,It is supposed to prolong lockup until it reaches a set throttle speed.

When getting to highway speeds,it tends to lockup,and the rpm drops to about 1300,and unless i floor it,or release the pedal it wont unlock.I would like it to stay in 4th or OD longer before going into lockup.Any thoughts on this product?,and how it hooks up?

Smaet controller and TC saver are two different products FYI. If I remember right it just unlocks the TC under WOT........I have one, never installed it.

 

Smart controller takes over the PCM so you can decide on 3-4 and lockup, also lets you lockup in 2nd with an E-brake on!

T/C saver allows you to let the converter unlock at a preset percentage of throttle!

The Smart Controller also has a separate adjustment to unlock the torque converter at the throttle percentage you select.
