Question DTT and BD Power Trannys

I noticed that DTT's Canadian outlet and BD Power are both in Abbotsford, BC. Are their trannys one in the same?

Even though I drive a stick, I'd go DTT all the way if I had a slushy.

I know lot's of guys that had tried both, they all have DTT in thier trucks now.

BD is just a few miles from DTT and as others have said they are not the same. I went with DTT and have been happy ever since.

I have a BD, bought it with the truck but I recently rebuilt it because I wanted to put a billet input shaft in there. Everything looked pretty good but I could tell by the look of some things (front clutch steels) that there was some excess heat build up. Other than that I had a broken thrust washer for my rear planetary. I say go DTT if you going to be spending the money.

Seems like a long way from $3800 USD. The difference in the dollar isn't that much.

That make more sense now. Thanks guys! I think I will just look for a 5spd or 6spd truck when it's time to purchase.
