driveshaft upgrades
in the near future I will be putting in a 271 t-case and when i do I will need to get the rear d-shaft shortened. I'm pretty sure the front driveshaft will have plenty of spline length to stretch the 1" it will need to in order to connect to the 271.
for the rear d-shaft im just gonna use the stock 271 slip yoke for now until i can afford an SYE kit with a bolt on flange. should i just have the driveshaft shop shorten the rear shaft and put a new u-joint in with the slip yoke? all the other u-joints are spicer units and were replaced less than a year ago.
