Same problem here, but only on cold days. The guys at TDR did a survey on this subject & we found that the Drag upgrades are having this problem....we notified Edge of the problem & they replied that they are working on a fix.

i just talked with a tech at edge, he suggested the ground is not good. mine is grounded at the top of the air intake horn..... i'm going to add some wire and move it to the - post of the battery. you cannot get a better ground.... i'll post the results later

I helped a friend install his drag comp and it was a nightmare to find the issue it had. I would say moving your ground is a good idea that was not the problem on his but we have worked on it for 2 evenings trying to get it right. I thought it would smoke more than it does. he wanted smoke so he got the drag box. he says it runs good just not much smoke.

I just sent mine back for the upgrade less than a month ago and it is currently sitting on my counter out of the truck b/c it decided when and if it wanted to turn off and it made the truck run like crap. Edge contacted me back but I am still waiting for an RMA # to send it back. I didn't spend $125 for my box to come back working worse than before...

BA ram how do you have it grounded? do you have an aftermarket pump cover? the pump cover was the issue on my buddies rig. he took that off and spliced in the pump wire the standard way and his runs great now. we also grounded it to the battery terminal instead of the intake

I've also got a buddy who just sent his Drag Comp back. His truck lost 1 second in the 1/4 mile with the new upgrade (he had the Drag Comp previously too). The truck is acting really weird. He had the issue where it decided when and where it would turn on or not before he sent it back. He chased gremlins on it for 2 weeks looking at everything and couldn't figure it out. He did change the ground on it too. The thing we keep coming back to trying to figure it out is the Edge box. He's going to try a TST in it this weekend to see if it does what it is supposed to.

I would say the tst comp box is more aggressive than the edge. if he wants brutal power tst is the way to go. my buddy had the tst on his before. he went with edge to get some smoke. he says himself the tst was more powerful. I hear the redline boxes for a 2nd gen valve are really powerful

ya thats what I noticed on my buddies trk. it doesnt smoke much for something claiming 145hp or around in there I thought it would smoke more than it does. thats why he decided on the drag box. he was real close to going back to a tst until he got it lined out. now he likes it but, I know he wanted it to smoke.
