drag comp happily ever after???

So I just scored a Drag Comp for a good deal and I was not gonna buy a wire tap box and just go big on injectors...but then I heard for 5 bills you can have a drag comp. So as soon as ups gets here I will be installing it, here is my question....who has an 01' that bit it soon after the comp install? I know the early pumps were a bit more failure prone, but momma ain't gonna dig me shelling out 5bills to spend a grand if get my drift. I have gauges and 4" coming too so I don't need to hear about them. I am curious is the drag version much better? harder on the pump? Oh yes the clutch, I know it will get beat, I bought my truck used and it has some clutch you just can not feather it slips for about a nanosecond and starts grabbing....used to make me mad....next week it will make me happy. So what are my odds of instant death in an 01? is the d comp harder on my pump, and where does the difference between the two exist?

THANKS TO ALL

and I appologize for ever thinking tap boxes were overkill.....Dang Bomb Bug!!!!!!!

sorry if I was not clear, the clutch has been upgraded, I just don't know what I ended up with but it is very grabby and you can only feather if you rev it up if you try to feather at low revs it wil just hook up
