Downpipe Flange

I am going to try to make a downpipe for a B1 to replace the hx35 in my twins, but how can i make a flange that will be thick enough to support the bottom turbo and still be able to clamp to the b1 exhaust housing or where can I buy one and what thickness of pipe is ussually used with the b1 in twins I have seen regular 4'' exhaust pipe used for the downpipe ,but is that strong enough

I m not sure what the b1 uses as a flange? Its not just a v band?

In anycase, I mounted my bottom turbo.....so no real weight of it is on the top turbo.

If you can t get it done any other way....pm me , I can cad draw it an water jet cut it.

Yeah it uses a v clamp, but I think that will only work with thinner pipe since the clamp isn't very wide the pipe can't be very thick, and the downpipe off my hx35 is about 1/4-3/8'' thick to help support the bottom turbo, I don't know what the professionals use for a down pipe or flange but I appreciatte any advice, 1320 thanks for the offer I may take you up on that if I can find out what to use and what the flange looks like

Cummins sells a "stub" I think they call it a turbo exhuast flange. They offer several different sizes....the hx 35 happens to be 2.82 inches.....not 2.75 or 3.00 ... Its a machined billet steel peice. Very nice and they are pretty proud of them too. I spent about 90$ for it. Then you can use what ever tubing you want , to fab the rest.

If you need a flat flange made, all I need is a gasket or paper example to draw it and then cut it out of steel.
