does more boost = more power?

i'm going to purchase a turbo master for my truck soon. after trying to pass a few people going up the hill yesterday, i had a thought. will going from 20psi to about 28-30 give me more power?

Yes and no. More boost does equal more power but to a certain point. You have to be able to add more fuel as more air is rammed in the cylinders.

Re:does more boost = more power?

Only if you have the fuel to make the power. What the TurboMaster will do for you is allow you to use the power longer before the EGT gets too high. When you put the TM on, tune it for the lowest temp using your pyro gauge. If you're not having high EGT problems on a long pull, you don't have enough fuel yet. ;D

Gearing down when towing 30' 5ver will also help alot when going up hill. Do not try to pull steep in OD. You need more RPM's which will keep boost up.
