do I have to roll the coal

I have a '99 with edge juice, airdog lift pump, bullydog 100hp sticks, and a new hx40. I was wondering if there are any hints for fine tuning my setup but my biggest concern is that I blow black smoke all the time. any moderate pedal pressure blows smoke and when it slides into overdrive it gives a good plume. If I get into it you can't see behind me. I would like to limit the smoke under normal driving. Any help is appreciated.

X2.....I run my truck on 50/50 WMO and D2, and it doesn't smoke unless I intentionally try to make it. By the way, when you use the term, "roll coal" I automaticly assume you're under the age of 16 because thats the thing these kids seem to be obcessed with around here....ha ha

I have pretty much the same setup but with stock injectors, and mine doesn't smoke even with the edge turned up

Doesn't the juice have subsetings like the edge comp? If so you can still run the juice on high if you can adjust the low boost fueling.

Check your charged air system for leaks if that checks out ok I'm leaning more toward the bullydog injectors.. I installed a set in a friends truck years ago. Talk about haze, heat and smoke..

I have the same set up minus the injectors.
I run mine on setting 4 most of the time and only get a little bit of smoke ,until boost builds, on gear shifts [5 speed] under a heavy pedal.
There are 5 different power levels, and each one has a setting for full fuel delivered at 0,5,10,15 and 20 PSI.
If you have it on setting 5 with full fuel delivered at 0 PSI, it will smoke.

The injectors will add to the smokiness as well...

You probably have soft pop pressure on the injector, lots of outfits just throw on new nozzles and forget about setting/adjusting the pop.

For a VP truck, 300bar is probably the best non-smoke pressure. For more smokey hazy runner go with 260bar.
