Digital Gauges Question

...the Edge Insight. Will be getting a Smarty later. Please don't talk me into a Juice w/Attitude

I currently have Isspro EV2's on the A-pillar. Not impressed, especially the fuel pressure gauge

Anyway, I'd really like to get an Edge Insight instead. HOWEVER, I can't find whether it will monitor fuel pressure. Edge's website isn't very clear about the Insight as a stand-alone unit.

Anyone here have experience with an Insight?

I like the CTS. It's expandable up to 16 different sensors I believe but the add ons are a bit pricey. It also has a universal sensor input so it should be able to do rail pressure.

From what I understand about the Insight is that you get whatever can be brought over the OBD2 connector. Bascially engine ECM data such as water temp, oil pressure, load% etc. Looks like you need a special module to pick up exhaust temp. And I cant see you picking up fuel pressure at all.

Have you considered an Adrenaline with Pulse or iQuad? I havnt been on here for a while, maybe there not cool anymore.

There is big power to be had along with basically anything you could want to monitor, and you could stack your smarty if you wanted.

I use the Adrenaline "oil temp" input for engine oil temp and then I run a seperate gauge for trans temp. The only thing I wish you could see with the Adrenaline that Quadzilla said we would be able to see is Fuel Temp.

Before you invest in digital gauges I suggest you drive a truck that has them.
Personally it drives me crazy with the constantly changing numbers.
I would much rather just glace at the position of a needle without even paying attention to the numbers.
