ok I got a regular BHAF, but I found a different kind that I think would be great for offroading to keep water and mud out, its the same overall diameter as the BHAF, same size inlet, but instead of the filter media extending all the way out, the plastic covers the entire filter except for holes in the bottom. like this: My question is, do you think it flows the same as the regular BHAF?

 

oh and why is my turbo so much quieter with a BHAF on it?

 

it should be a LOT louder than the stock box is........and i dont think that would flow as good as the stock filter, and it would be suckin hot air from the manifold, but i may be wrong

 

well I didn't have the stock box on there before this, I had a K&N filter stuck on the end of the rubber tube.
