This is a stupid question...My rebuilt pump came with a wierd 3K setup,but yet I could only get 70MPH max.I still have my aftermarket kit.I notice that it takes only about 7 turns to take the nut off and a measurement of 1.7MM.Will this be ok with the new springs I put in??Don't want the nut to fall off(you would think it shouldn't)Or is this to loose?

 

The nut can fall off if you don't turn it in until you feel it click into the detents. You should feel the detent at each 1/4 turn.
