Sorry if this is a newb question because it is, but what exactly are these delivery valves, it seems to me that they are just a part of the injector and people just suggest getting the 300 or 370 injectors instead. Is it kind of like filling the stock injectors with new guts, those being laser cut??

Thanks in advance, as I am reading as much as I can to learn about all this cheap tuning, since I will soon own a 2nd gen 12v 5 speed.

Hey Ben the delivery valves in a 12 valve are mounted at the outlet of the injecter pump before each line they are there to supply a volume of fuel to each injecter as needed and can be a source of more power!

 

So where can I get these DV's? I cant seem to find them online.

Depends what year truck ur getting, if it's a 96-98 you don't really need to upgrade the dv's for power, u can get plenty other ways and stay cooler.

 

I have a set of 191s that I think I am going to take out and go back to 181s. The 191s are making way too much heat with my twins. They did add a little hp according the "seat of my pants" meter but the heat aint worth it.

 

Get the 191's I looked for a long time and could not find any used,you will be pleased with the punch they add! That is if you don't mind a little smoke!!

i have a 98 12v, as soon as i get a clutch i was planning on getting #10 fuel plate, 3k srings, and dv's but you say i could stay cooler going a different route. what would you suggest.

 

I dropped a set Scheid DV's in my pump---WOW, awsome increase in power!!!

 

I was told yesterday,that companies take stock delivery values and cut them to laser cuts.They cut some sort of shoulder off.Could someone tell me where the pics are on DTR?I'm looking on a set because my rebuilt pump is not fueling at all.

 

Here you go, they do cut down stock DVs...

 

I love my DV's They made me 100 more dyno proven HP over stock on my 94.
If I would have known better I would have bought them sooner. Unless you tow a bunch I would not worrie about running a set of dv's

Whats the difference between a 191 and an 022?

I'm guessing its the taper cut on the bottom of the valve?
