A new project I may be starting soon is a Cummins in a Ferd pickup. Question is: is the bolt pattern the same as the old V8 pattern, such as to use a TF727? I've seen on Cumminsracing site that they used a TH400 GM trans in a 'Burb. Why not save adapters and use a 727? It's just a '72 2wd ...probably going to be built like my truck(375-400hp). 8)

 

For what it's worth, a 2nd gen(94-98) is what we're looking at if it makes a difference. The other thing is finding the engine....seems anyone that has one is really proud of it! >
