Those of you who have had this issue........complete replacement or the plastic cover that glues to the old one?

my full dash plastic cover now rattles, squeaks and is barely holding on. It came w/the truck when I bought it but I'm now at the point of having to replace it all. It's worked ok for years but the underlying problem is still theres. I'm going to replace my skyjunker (rough riding) springs before the dash as I believe they have caused part of the destruction.
