Smile Cracked dashboard

My 2003 Ram 3500 has developed 2 cracks and I would like to get it repaired before it gets any worse. I saw many older threads on this issue, but nothing new. Is there any consensus on best way to "fix" the problem. I called Dodge and they did not offer any help. What is best way to fix making it look good????

Check out Genos' Garage, they have a cover that might work for around 160 bucks it is not a dash mat but they do carry mats. Do on search on their site for dash covers. Hope this helps I know replacing the whole dash board would be a chore....

There's lots of kits available to repair a dash. Usually involve a kind of putty, a heat gun, and something to imprint the pattern. To make the repair invisible, you need to remove the dash, do the repair, and then repaint the entire dash. Otherwise it will be glaringly obvious where the repair is.

I used one of those dash covers on a '69 Mustang. I was surprised at how well it fit, and how good it looked. I could tell it was a cover, but nobody else could. It really did look like the original dash. Total install time was less than an hour.

Thanks...I looked at Geno's site, thought cracked dashes would merit more coverage from Dodge, due to so many that happen....but they say they are not covering this defect???

Also forgot to mention LMC {Long Motor Company} for parts you can go to their site and check out their replacement dash boards.
