I am confused. i have been reading about Fuel Pressure gauges, and I understand that the '01 doesnt have a hookup like the 98-00 do. is there something somewhere that describes the intall process, or can someone enlighten me?

Tapped banjo on the bottom of the filter cannister.

 

Look on your injection pump. There is a schrader valve. The way you hook up a FP gauge to this is you need to buy a tapped banjo that will accept the port for the FP sender. They are only like $5 from Wildcat or Geno's. You unscrew the schrader valve and screw the tapped banjo in it's place. Screw the sender on to the banjo. And voila. Your done.

 

ok blue, i understand that. then why does Geno's sell a Fuel Pressure kid with like 4 banjo bolts?

 

probably because you should upgrade all the banjo's at the same time to the larger ones instead of just the one..the kit probably contains all the needed banjo's.

 

It does replcae all the banjos with higher flow models. It upped my pressures overall by 1-2 psi. It was well worth the money. Make sure you get the replacement washers with the kit as well.
