I was going to put gauges on my 01 24valve when I discovered the Quadzilla Commander control system. I know it can display four parameters at once. Does anyone know if you can choose which four paramaters you want to display. I want to display EGT, boost, trans. temp., and fuel pressure. I want to use this unit as a stand alone unit to take the place of gauges. Does anyone have any experience with this?

 

Yes, you can do exactly as you described.

You will need the fuel pressure kit for this though as it adds the pressure sender and the hardware to install it. It is in-expensive though.

 

OK thanks. I want to use this monitor instead of gauges because it would be at least 100.00 dollars cheaper and is more compact and would make a cleaner looking installation than gauges I.M.H.O. I was aware of the need to purchase the fuel pressure kit, and its still cheaper than 4 gauges and has the added benefit of being able to monitor even more parametors than are on the display.
How about mounting options?

 

We have a super nice, complete a-pillar that looks factory in these trucks. that is what I would do. The way it is designed you can actually mount it almost anywhere you want.

 

How much for the A pillar, and will it need to be painted?
