Smile Christmas Gift

I plan on getting my boyfriend 5" exhaust for Christmas, but I want to get him something else for his truck as well. I don't know in which order you are supposed to do mods, but what is listed in the sig. is what he has done. Any ideas would be great. I want to keep it no more than $1,000 if possible. Thanks.

WOW....My kind of girl. With what has already been done, I'd think a 5" exhaust systems is called for. Does he have a manual or an auto? Maybe a performance valvebody or new HD clutch?

You might find him some good used injectors depending on what he wants to do to the truck.

Sorry I didn't include that it is a manual transmission. Thanks so much for the ideas.

You didn't say if he has gauges or not. He needs them.

A DSS steering stabilizer would make that truck steer nice.

Leave the steering mods up to him. Does he plan on sled pulling later or anything? If not, a Southbend con ofe clutch & some RV275 injectors are within budget. I will tell you this though, I always like to make my own decisions about my truck & if my wife gets me something for it, I feel obligated to keep it on there even if I really wanted something else. Although these 2 recommendations are super cool. Have you thought about a gift certificate from a performance shop?

Give Lary a call at the DTR shop. He'll be able to help you out.

I know that Doug at Advanced Diesel Technology will also help you out. 304-864-3399. Tell him that Jamie told you to call, He has great prices & he is very knowledgeable, doesn't sell his customers things they can't use or push you into a sale.

I think a gift certificate would be the best choice. I'm very picky about my truck and what goes on it just like I'm sure he is, so let him decide what he wants. I've always been told that the way to a man's heart is his stomach, but they must not have had a CTD.
