Hey just bought a 01 dodge 3500 its virtually stock,, I have a cheap programmer that i have to plug in and change my tune every time i want to change from towing tune to stock or high performance tune,, a major pain in my a@@ and it also has a k&n filter on it, not the whole k&n air system just a filter, I'm in the process of putting exhaust on it 5" pipe with 6" stacks bull hauler type,, that i plan on running down the side where the running boards are place... to many people have stacks going out there bed just waiving in the air i want something different,,, I'm looking at boxes to mount inside my cab so i can change my tune on the fly but haven't decided which one i want,, what would you all put or have on your trucks just an opinion that I'm looking for i know everyone has there own,
I have the Edge Juice with Att and I like it a LOT! When stacked with a Smarty programmer for more bottom end fueling they are very hard to beat! just know that once you start modding these trucks its hard to stop. Next you will want Tranny upgrades, then a Turbo, and so on and so on!
Have fun.
thanks yall so it pretty much seems like edge is the way to go so far and thats what i was leaning towards for the most part, but just wasn't sure, and JIT yea i know all about keep on upgrading.... it really never ends right now i have a 89 fox body mustang and i'm in the slow process of puting a 460 in it that i got out of my old farm truck... and all the mod options i have for that engine are brain bogling, it just depends on how much i want to put in it and what i'm going to do with it that makes that final decision on what goes on or doesn't go on

If the K&N is the drop-in filter replacement, then look for something more effective for your expensive engine. you would be better off with the the stock Dodge filter. I use the S&B, but there are many good systems out there. Don't cheap out with critical parts, you'll be happier in the long run and so will your truck.
yea no dought, i do plan on replacing the filter with a more free flowing system, not to fond of the factory ones, i like air so i'm the type that believes my truck likes it and should get plenty
Do a search for BHAF (Big Honkin Air Filter) and you'll have all the air you need for now! They are very inexpensive as well.
The adrenaline from quad is awesome. Its still being beta tested but as soon as they come out I think alot of people are going to start selling there comps. I know Just from beta testing this box compared to the comp the adrenaline isnt even comparable. Dont get me wrong though I had a comp and loved it.
BHAF is cheap and removing the silencer ring is free. Some fuel lines and fittings might mean you'll be fine with the oem pump as long as it lives, or you can add another pump as a pusher.
If you set up some guages you can run the box on high all the time, then add a fueling box for flexible fueling. What is it that you have now?

What do you mean? They've already started selling them haha! Just look through the classifieds and you'll see all kinds of programmers for sale. The adrenaline race box will turn your truck into a whole new animal, thats for sure.
Ph4tty right now everything is stock as fuel pump no extra guages nothing yet, just getting ideas and my plans down right now,, i dont want to get in the middle of one add on and have to do another and not having planned the cost or time to install it...
