CB in your 2nd Gen.
both of ours have galaxy 979's. the CB's are mounted in front of the shifter where the CD/junk bin used to be to the right of the ash tray. power I got by tapping into the raido fuse with a "little-fuse ad a circute" We used a off set stake hole mount and mounted the antanna in the first hole behind the drivers side of the cab. amps run off the batteries. I use 4' k40 super flex antennas in black. not obnoxious, work well enough, stick up about 50% over the cab hight and will flex below the roof line if you wack something.
Not at the moment, I could probably take a couple tomorrow.
Its definetly a squeeze getting the radio mounted there, I doubt the 25ltd or 29ltd would fit, mine is not as thick as them, and if I shift it really hard going into 3rd the shifter will just barely touch the radio.

Here is mine! This is when I had my Cobra 19, I upgraded to a Cobra 29 and stuck in the same spot. I had to modify the compartment a little bit.

And the antenna, a Wilson Super Trucker.

I have my CB mounted on the dash of my truck. When my dad used to own the truck he had one on the dash. And so when I bought mine, I just put it in the same spot. Not the most hidden spot, or anything like that but that's ok. It is Cobra 18 WX ST II, not the best one, but it works for me. I am running dual fiberglass whips on my mirrors as well, for me, they are a lot better than my single antenna that was on my roof
cobra 29 nw with sound tracker, same as in my big truck. not the finest, but i don't feel the need for a $300+ radio. mounted it by bending a piece of aluminum sheet and attaching it to the underneath of the center section of the seat. i've got a stubby little barjan whip, works fine if you don't want to "get out" for 20 miles.
