I've got mine between my bed & cab (because of my toolbox) They look perfect there, and my SWR is 1.2! I didn't even have to tune the antennas!
Hey Dieseldude, you should just try tuning your antennas a little bit. What kind do you have?

I think that I am going to mount the antenna where Phox mounted his, but I only need one antenna. I am going to get a firestik II.
Does anybody have pictures of where they mounted the CB in the cab? I don't want to mount it in front of the middle console, I got to much stuff there as it is. I was thinking on the ceiling, but I am not sure I want to go through all that work. I am open to suggestions.

I think this is directed at me, but the thread is so old.

It just runs parralel to the mount,
excess coiled under the BHAF on passenger side,
by the PDC (Power Distribution Center) on the driver side,
threaded through the unused clutch grommet,
along the top of the carpet behind the pedals,
then to the CB.

You can see it in this pic, then going along the cowl seal ziptied to some other wiring that was there.

I mounted mine in the dash.

Still needs to be finished around the edges.

Rattlerattle, I like that dash a lot. That made out of aluminum or steel?
