Does anyone have the scoop on this? I heard something about shipping your ecm to Italy to have the factory program erased and a new one flashed???

 

I have been following this thread over on the TDR and it looks very interesting. I am going to wait and see how things pan out with the people that are already in line for it.

Ahhh... Never thought to check out TDR

 

I've had the ecm installed for just over 2 weeks. The product is awesome. Battering Ram posted a review of the product a couple of month back on the DTR.

do a search. This has been one of the top ugrades I have done.

 

Is it a new brand new PCM? Anyone got a link to the thread on the DTR?

It's basically an ECM reflash, but has some rather interesting results based upon the reading above.

ECM, not PCM. On the side of the engine block. Marco replaces a chip inside, with his programming.

Just waiting for it to return to try out on my truck.

 

I am thinking of doing this next, as I have a spare ecm. How long is it taking to get them back from Italy? I understand there are a few options as far as timming if you already have a box that gives timming. Post your results when you try yours. Tim

Duh? Brain fart? Where have you been Batter? Havent seen you around that much.

 

Doug mentioned 2 to 3 weeks by the time he rounded up the batch going over.

I'm not aware of any "options" regarding timing.

When I do get it back I will post my findings naturally once its on the truck.
