as expressed by others....Edge for better low rpm power...TST PM3 for better reliability and smother mid to top end. My opinion also.

As I have said on here before, I am very displeased with my TST PM3. Way way too lazy to add fuel early. I sent it back to get turned it into a competition version, and that helped out only a tad with earlier fueling, but now level 3 is like what 9 used to be and there is no further power increase from 3 to 9.. Other than the higher settings being rough and bucky (is that a word??) it did nothing besides reduce the number of levels to play with..

I tried stacking an EZ with it and it was a HUGE MASSIVE ENORMOUS (did I say big) improvement in the bottom end, but I was left with terrible stumbling with light accel on the highway. So much so, that I have disconnected the EZ.

I had a contractor working for me at the plant who had the same truck, and one stage smaller injectors than me and he had the Edge Comp... Drove it and it was awesome. With it on 5-5 WAY more bottom end than mine and no, ZERO zilch drivability problems. Needless to say I am looking to sell my TST PM3 and my EZ and buy a comp.

Joefarmer should chime in here too.... he had the EXACT same experience as me.

Oh, and by the way, don’t let that silly digital readout of the TST PM fool you into buying it... its all but worthless IMHO... buttons are a disgrace, takes forever to change and the update rate of the readout is painfully slow...

As always, your sugar-coating friend, Kevin .

I just pulled the Van Aaken in favor of the drag comp, I gave up a bunch on the bottom but gained a bunch on the top only dissapointment is the mileage I lost from the swap, the VA was better on fuel, both are a bargain and reccomend them

I'll let you know soon. I have a sale pending for my EZ, and will be upgrading to a Comp (like I should have done the FIRST time). Oh well, live and learn.

I'm expecting good things. I'm not going to upgrade to a Drag Comp, because I feel that they are all heat and no power on an HO truck. You just don't have enough pump for the Drag model.

So I'm getting the Comp mainly for adjustability and low-boost defueling which will make larger injector more manageable.

I'm figuring that a Comp and Mach 4s is all the fuel my pump can do, so then I'll just have to find a way to burn it efficiently. Is that enough for 500hp?

Although Edge has been plagued by reliability problems, I would really vote Edge if you're driving your truck daily. It's smooth, power is predictable and it moves from level to level without the aggravating 3 second pause between levels. Edge is assembled in China, TST is made state-side.

So I wonder if the Drag flash would buy me anything? With the pusher pump mine always has 12-15psi at the VP inlet at WFO. I'm still thinking I could throw a little more fuel at it. The B1-2 pretty much entirely cleans it up even on 5x5. My understanding it water/meth won't help much if you don't have some extra unburnt fuel to spare. I don't think my does. I told myself as soon as I got to 500 I was good. Now I'm thinking 550 would sure be nice. Just a little more fuel and some water/meth along with a Drag Comp and it might be there... Where do stock 5sp trannies go south?

The Edge Drag Comp will probably produce a bit (around 20) more HP on your truck. As for the water/meth you will see a HP gain because the meth is a fuel source. The water/meth is not like nitrous where you need lots of unburned fuel to make HP.
