Boost Pressure Leak Test

I want to check my intake system for leaks. I was wondering if I need to plug the intake horn or if the engine is tight enough that it will hold pressure when I place a cap and valve stem on the compressor housing of my turbo. I'm most concerned with leaks in my stock intercooler but while i'm at it, i thought I might as well check the intake manifold as well. Any thoughts? Anyone else done this before and ran into problems?

Don't worry about the motor itself, just pressurize it from the turbo inlet and go for it. If you have a leak, it will show up. The engine itself will leak down but it will hold pressure long enough to find a leak if you have one.

Put a little dish wash soap in a spray bottle of water and hose every connection down including as much of the intercooler as you can, your leak will show up.
