Boost issue

Okay all, I have a problem with my boost pressure. I can't get it above 20 psi no matter what I do. I have a boost elbow and the EZ, which I thought was a boost fooler, but see no increase in boost pressure over stock. Is there something I'm not doing, or do you think it is some other issue?

The elbow increases the boost, the boost fooler just lies to your computer to stop it from throwing a code. Recheck the elbow and be sure it is adjusted tight (they are adjustable so you can control the boost).

Adjusted tight??? As in screwed in further, I assumed that screwed out would allow more boost through.

Yes, screwed in blocking the signal to open the waste gate...

Should get you around 25 psi.

When I had an EZ, I was able to see boost levels of around 32psi.

If you have an adjustable boost elbow, you want the screw to obstruct the orifice... the elbow from Edge should already be constricted.

OK, I think we are confused here. Opening up the allen screw on the boost elbow will open the wastegate per stock settings. Screwing the allen screw into the boost elbow will effectively begin to block the wastegate from opening until higher boost pressure is achieved.

Why did you adjust it? Mine out of the box works just fine..

Don't forget you could have leaky intercooler fittings affecting your boost.
