I've noticed my boost gauge bounces alot! Its like it blurs when im over 5 psi. anyone know what is causing that? I have the wastegate blocked, would that cause it?

 

My autometer phantom did the same thing but i have since moved on to isspro ev's and they dont bounce at all. Maybe just something about the Autometers.

 

My AM does the same thing I was just writing it off as tiny fluctuations in manifold pressure when valves open and close.

i dono my autometer dosen't do that..... i'd call autometer and ask them....

 

I have ISSPRO gauges and my boast gauge used to make funny noise and bounce around alot. I installed a snubber from dieselmanor and all problems went away.

Give the place where you bought your gauges from a call and let them tell you if the gauge is bad or if you need a snubber.
