Big Line Kits From Fuel Filter To Inj Pump???
I'm installing the Vulcan relo kit this weekend complete with draw straw kit. I'm aiming for near an 1/8 of a tank by Saturday morning. I had to drop the tank in my full size Bronco when it was 3/4 full. Don't want to do that every again. I'll let you kow how long/difficult it is.
Ya going to start acquiring tools I dint got in the shop one thing i know i got but I cant find is the cutter for the alum line I am going to go to Cummins northwest in Portland Oregon n pick up a new lift pump get that ready to go get a two new fuel filters one for the tool box an a new one for the new pump cause I am going to dump the canister n give it good cleaning too. As far as the fuel filter is concerned that all stays the same the heater and what not?
if you go to Home Depot, just get the mini pipe cutter for 7.00 or so.
When you have the canister off, put all the fittings on it while you have it out.
The canister does stay the same, other than the new fittings.

There is a good price on a relo kit in the classifieds right now. https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...p?product=7322
It shouldn't matter, depending on where he put the pump. Ask him if he has the original pieces for an OEM pump. You would save a few dollars, anyway.
With the vulcan kit, can the run the factory lift pump with like a hollet behind it or do you do away with the factory and just use the holley as a lift pump???
If I can double them, I think I'll use the holley. If I can't i think I'll just get a walbro 391 or maybe the whole glacier kit.
Would the Vulcan/stand alone holley flow enough for a just a drag comp of an HO?????

Well, look what I have in my sig. I have an OEM LP with the relo kit, and I am at 14# Idle, down to 12# with comp on 5x5. Other than having it on 5x5 (which I don't do anymore) it stays at 13-14#.
Here is my trick to minimize fuel spillage when cutting the fuel line (I just did the lines on my 12-valve with a full tank of diesel). Take about a 4 inch piece of 3/8 ordinary gasser fuel line and put a hose clamp on each end. Take about a 2 inch 3/8 bolt and stick it on one end of the hose, then tighten that hose clamp. Stand out of the way, with your arms higher than the fuel line (so fuel doesn’t run down your arms), and cut the line with a tube cutter. When the line gets cut, plug the line with your finger. Reach over and grab your hose with bolt, remove your finger, and stick the hose in the line, tighten the hose clamp. Install the pump and the rest of the big line kit, then at the very end unplug the fuel line and quickly plug in the new hose. I must of only spilled a few ounces of fuel this way.
