Best Shift Kit

Hi All,

Just looking for some opinions on who you think makes the best shift kit for a 1993 W250 (3.54 gears)....I am fixing up the tranny before messing w/ the engine/pump.....I bought but haven't installed yet (Figure I'd do it all at once)
DTT 89 TC , B&M finned deep alum Trans Pan, Isspro Trans Temp Guage, Tru Cool Tranny Cooler.....Last ingredient would be the shift Kit....I've heard of TransGo and Superior but was wondering if theses were the best or are there better kits out there and if so where can I buy them? BTW the Trans was rebuilt by a trans shop about 30K ago and the truck hasn't towed since then.

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Andrew

If your getting the DTT converter, get their valve body and update kit as well. Do it once and do it right.

Helltone, See if you can get a peek at the converter they have for our trucks. Let us know what you think. Thanks!

Are you suggesting a covert op :P I have to say I don't know anything about that stuff so looking is no use to you or me. I went with DTT after my searching however never saw a part that went in my truck thats the installers job.

For $50 on Ebay my transgo is hard to beat. Ups the line pressure, better shifting, pumps fluid in park, and the TC holds a LOT better now event hough it still slips. Im sure the others are good, too, just stating that i like my transgo and think it was well worth the $50.

Thanks for all your input.....Since I got the DTT 89 TC I asked which one they recommended and Ended up ordering the TFOD shift kit from them (transco).
Don't know if it is the best since I heard good things from other makers but it was the one DTT recommended and since I've heard nothing but good things here about their TC's I wnet along with what they had. Thanks again for your input.
