Thats all good and fine but lets see how it does in the truck that REALLY holds the Cummins. Not some shoe horned Dakota.<br>Jeff

 

Even if it is in a Dakota, it's still pretty impressive, especially since it's street legal and carries it's own equipment to the events! (with a driver of course. ;D)

 

I'm not a fan of Banks products, but it's still impressive.<br>Whodathunk....a 200mph diesel pickup. 8)

 

Iam not a big Banks fan either...but its about the engine and not the truck its put into...even a furd...the outside shell dont matter its all about how its powered to get that kind of speed...and to be street legal that part impressed me <br><br>Iam into V-Twin motorcycle racing and very few of these ever see the street they get trailered and torn down and rebuild after a few races ???<br><br>Since this is a new record for the truck class Iam sure there's going to be more builders trying to beat this speed....now that everyone knows it can be done.<br><br>.

 

Gale Banks the person is one very knowledgeable fella.<br>He was designing and building some of the best marine and big off-shore racing turbo systems before some of us were out of diapers.<br><br>Although his current upgrades for the Dodge Cummins are lacking somewhat IMO. Too bad they went so conservative in their on-road product line.<br><br>Don~<br><br>
