Back In Action and Looking For Advice

OK, my truck was down for 18 months after I destroyed the engine.

The engine has been replaced and I am back to stock. I have put in a BHAF and a High Tech HTB2/62 Stainless Turbo...

I have my 4K-GSK ready to install and will be working on the AFC at the same time...

I am trying to decide which way to go with injectors and delivery valves. I used to have 370's in the old motor and was very pleased with them, but I always told myself if I could do it over I would go more...

So what would you do?

from what I have read here I am going with Mach 4's but depending on what you want to with your truck will depend on what size you should run.

VP trucks have electronic controlled injection pumps [vp44] 12v are completely mechanically controlled. Completely different injector bodies.

I suppose that means that Mach is only for 24v trucks

12v injectors

24v injectors

12v injectors are mounted at an angle from the outside edge of the head. Fuel lines go into the top of the injector, and return line is a seperate line from the side of the body. 24v injectors are mounted in the center of the head, under the valve cover. Connector tubes go from the high pressure lines to the injector body, which is fed from the side of the body, and the return is also in the side, which goes through a passage in the head.

Don does make a Mach 4 for the 12v's, but that is a competition injector, quite large. DDP's seem to be the cream of the crop for 12v injectors, although New Era injectors seem quite popular as well, and seem to be a bit cheaper in price. I have a set of F1 Hot Rod 370's sitting on the bench, they will go in the truck when I come home from my next job. Hopefully they are up to par with the 24v injectors he makes.

Thanks for the advice...

It looks like New Era and DDP are the two to be looking at... Is there a point where I can go "too big"?

You can definitely go too big, depending on what charger you are running. Personally, I'd go too big than too small, and just adjust your plate till you're happy with what you have. I'd say go for the 140hp stick.
