Auxiliary fuel tank thoughts - different?

I had a thought about 'rigging' an auxiliary fuel tank and want some input.
I homebrew bio-diesel and would like to have more fuel on hand for road trips without it costing me a small fortune for another or larger tank.

I have an in-bed tool box along w/ a tanneu cover.
What about putting a fuel cell inside the tool box and either running a gravity feed to the inlet tube or pressuizing the cell w/ 3-5 psi and using a tube to manually fill the main tank?

I'm leaning towards the 22 gallon above and using air pressure to transfer, I would not have to drill thru the bed and not be concerned about violating any DOT regs.
It does not have a sump and I was thinking I could apply a few pounds of air pressure and run a hose straight in thru the fill cap.
The hose would be about a 3/8"- would this take completely forever to empty 22 gallons?
I would imagine I'd want to remove the internal foam for use w/ bio-diesel for fear of it being disolved by the bio. Any 'big' concern w/ 22 gallons in the tank/toolbox without any baffles?

Thoughts?
Am I crazy w/this idea?

Theres just enough space under the bedsides for 12gal HDPE marine fuel tanks. There also are 26gal spare tire tanks out there for the ram if you know where to look.
Honestly I would go out and buy a pollak fuel switch and use that to switch feed and return between aux and main tanks. If you installed two switches, one for feed and one for return, then you can transfer on the fly as well.
If you decide to get a toolbox fuel tank, northern tool has a cheap one you can get with the tank built-in.
Dont do a gravity feed, its more likely to spill and might be against state or federal (DOT) regs. Safer to draw from the top of the vessel with a straw.

i got a spare 50 gal tank from a f700 bottom drain. drilled a hole in my bed and into the top of the tank ran 1/2 line and a ball valve it took 3 miles for it to fill from 1/4 to full. i also made a bracket to hold it still in the bed and he tank is even with the bed rails. perfect for a cover.

Anyone have a line on the spare tire tank? I asked Aerotank if they make one for an 01 but they said "Nyet".

If you decide to pressurize the tank you could use boost pressure off the intake with a check valve and relief valve to keep it pressurized. This would only work while its running and after sitting for a few hours it might bleed off. Were you thinking of just pressurizing it to tranfer to the main?

As said just use a Pollack valve to switch tanks and the lift pump will pull from the aux tank the same as from the main.
